IBEW and BEX Asia 2026 Put AI’s Built Environment Test on the Floor
This September, the paired conference and exhibition turn attention to applied intelligence: where AI, robotics, data and sustainability tools meet delivery, operations and workforce capability.
- Candice Lim
AI in the built environment is no longer looked upon as a future concern. It is turning up in design coordination, project planning, site monitoring, carbon measurement and building operations.
Industry professionals are no longer discussing whether the technology is impressive. They are asking whether it helps teams make better decisions, reduce waste, improve safety and keep human judgement close to the work.
This is the focus of International Built Environment Week (IBEW) 2026 和 BEX Asia 2026, taking place from 2–4 September 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
Anchored on the theme “Empowering People, Accelerating Intelligence”, IBEW 2026 will bring together policymakers, developers, consultants, technology innovators and industry leaders to examine three issues now pressing on the sector: AI and digital adoption, sustainability across the built environment lifecycle, and the industry’s talent challenge.
The conference programme will cover generative AI, predictive analytics, robotics, digital twins, intelligent building operations and workforce readiness through keynote presentations, executive dialogues, panel discussions and case-based sessions.
BEX Asia, the anchor exhibition of IBEW, brings the same conversation to the trade-show floor. The 2026 edition will feature more than 200 exhibiting brands, with approximately 60% showcasing AI-related products and solutions, and about 25% introducing new products.
New feature areas, including the Build with AI Pavilion and Build with Robotics Demo Zone, will present applied technologies ranging from immersive 3D virtual environments and AI-powered video analytics for site safety to connected construction platforms, carbon-management tools and live robotics demonstrations.
For built environment professionals, the draw is in seeing strategy and tools in the same place. Conference discussions, supplier showcases, technical seminars and business-matching sessions sit alongside one another, giving visitors a clearer view of what is already usable, what still needs testing, and where the market may be moving next.
BEX Asia 2026 will also feature masterclasses and seminars covering AI, digitalisation, sustainability and emerging construction technologies, with SGBC technical sessions offering CPD opportunities.
The Future Atlas is pleased to support IBEW 2026 and BEX Asia 2026 as a media partner. Across both platforms, the central issue is a practical one: how new intelligence can be translated into safer sites, lower-carbon operations, stronger project delivery and better long-term decisions.
IBEW 2026 and BEX Asia 2026 will take place from 2–4 September 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
